Estudio energético y de viabilidad económica de una planta de biometano en la comunidad autónoma de Cantabria

Abstract

RESUMEN: En el presente trabajo, se realizará un estudio de aprovechamiento energético a partir del residuo de ganado vacuno mediante su digestión anaerobia y conversión en biometano. Se analizará la cantidad de residuo generado, su disponibilidad y cantidad de energía susceptible de aprovechamiento en toda la comunidad autónoma de Cantabria. Posteriormente, el estudio se basará en la localización de una planta centralizada que gestione el residuo de la zona. Para ello, se analizará el residuo disponible, se dimensionará la planta en base a este y se analizará su viabilidad energética y económica para dos posibles usos finales, su inyección en la red de gas natural y su uso como combustible vehicular.

ABSTRACT: In the present assignment, a study of the use of energy will be carried out based on the cattle waste through its anaerobic digestion and conversion of it into biomethane. The amount of waste generated, its availability, and quantity of energy vulnerable to be used in the whole community of Cantabria will be analysed. Afterwards, the study will be based on the location of a centralised plant which manages the waste of the area. In order to do this, the available waste will be analysed, the base plant will be measured and sized, and the energetic and economic viability will be calculated for two main final uses as well as its injection in the natural gas system and its use as a common and vehicular fuel.
