Evolución del Enoturismo en Haro (La Rioja)

Abstract

RESUMEN: El presente Trabajo Fin de Grado pretende trazar la evolución del enoturismo en Haro. Primero se lleva a cabo una breve síntesis del concepto de enoturismo, además de una descripción del perfil del turista actual. Acto seguido, se realiza una serie de entrevistas a profesionales vinculados con el sector, así como una encuesta para recabar datos acerca del impacto que genera el turismo vitivinícola en la localidad de Haro. Posteriormente, se contextualiza la historia de esta tipología de turismo, empezando a nivel europeo, prosiguiendo con España, hasta llegar a la evolución alcanzada en La Rioja, y más concretamente en Haro, territorio entorno al que gira dicho trabajo. Tras esta contextualización, se presenta la evolución que las bodegas han ido experimentando hasta adquirir el renombre con el que cuentan hoy en día. Para finalizar, se formulan conclusiones y recomendaciones a raíz de la investigación realizada.

ABSTRACT: This undergraduate dissertation seeks to trace the development of wine tourism in Haro. Firstly, a brief explanation of the concept of wine tourism is made, as well as a description of the profile of Haro’s current tourists. Secondly, some interviews are conducted with professionals linked to the sector, as well as a survey to collect data on the impact generated by wine tourism in the town of Haro. Subsequently, the history of this type of tourism is contextualised from different perspectives, starting at a European level, continuing with Spain, then La Rioja, and above all, in Haro, the subject of this study. After this contextualisation, there is provided a presentation of the evolution that the wineries have undergone to reach their present level of prestige. Finally, conclusions and recommendations are made in light of the investigation undertaken.
