RESUMEN: En este trabajo se pretende analizar la eutanasia desde el punto de vista conceptual, así como en relación con algunos derechos fundamentales recogidos en la Constitución. Se pone el foco sobre la Ley Orgánica 3/2021, de 24 de marzo, de regulación de la eutanasia y sus aspectos clave, entre otros, la despenalización de la eutanasia, los requisitos exigidos para acceder a la prestación de ayuda para morir y el procedimiento que se debe seguir, indicado por el Manual de buenas prácticas en eutanasia. Se destaca igualmente el debate que ha nacido en torno a la regulación de este derecho, tanto a nivel nacional como internacional.
ABSTRACT: This paper aims to analyse euthanasia from a conceptual point of view, as well as in relation to some of the fundamental rights enshrined in the Constitution. The focus is on Organic Law 3/2021 of 24 March on the regulation of euthanasia and its key aspects, among others, the decriminalization of euthanasia, the requirements required to access the provision of aid for dying and the procedure to be followed, indicated by the Manual of Good Practice in Euthanasia. It also highlights the debate that has arisen on the regulation of this right, both nationally and internationally.
