Efectos del Covid en el mundo laboral

Abstract

RESUMEN: El COVID ha causado una grave crisis de características sin precedentes. A lo largo del año 2020, el PIB en nuestro país sufrió el mayor descenso interanual registrado desde la Guerra Civil. En marzo, tras decretarse en toda España el estado de alarma y las correspondientes restricciones a la movilidad y a las actividades no esenciales, la producción, la demanda y el consumo y la inversión se descendieron de manera fulminante. Por lo tanto, el objetivo de este trabajo es averiguar y estudiar el impacto que ha tenido la crisis sanitaria y económica sobre el mercado laboral español. Se estudiará la situación del mercado laboral y modelo productivo español en momentos previos a iniciarse la crisis y se compararan con los datos posteriores con los que contamos hasta el momento para conocer si las debilidades históricas de la economía española han podido potenciar los efectos perniciosos del virus. Se dará especial atención a las prestaciones proporcionadas por el estado para ayudar tanto a las empresas, como a los trabajadores y autónomos. Finalmente, se darán a conocer nuevas modalidades de empleo que intentarán reconducir el mercado laboral hacia un mercado más productivo, eficaz y sostenible.

ABSTRACT: COVID has caused a serious crisis of unprecedented characteristics. Throughout 2020, the GDP in Spain suffered the largest year-on-year decline since the Civil War. In March, after the state of alarm was enacted throughout Spain with the corresponding restrictions on mobility and non-essential activities, production, demand, consumption and investment fell sharply. With this in mind, the aim of this paper is to find out and study the impact that the health and economic crisis has had on the Spanish labor market. The situation of the Spanish labor market and the productive model prior to the onset of the crisis will be studied and compared with the latest data available to date in order to find out whether the historical weaknesses of the Spanish economy contributed to the pernicious effects of the virus. Furthermore, special attention will be given to the benefits provided by the state to help companies, workers and the self-employed. Finally, new forms of employment will be presented in an attempt to redirect the labor market towards a more productive, efficient and sustainable market.
