Optimizing pool mixing

Abstract

This report covers the process of designing the pump system of a pool in order to reduce the energy used to the point where it is possible to use solar panels to operate the pool. This includes calculating the power needed to get a good mixing, looking for different solutions regarding solar panels and multiple simulations of different pool designs (different outputs and inputs) to achieve the best mixing using the least amount of energy.
