Enfermero: la piedra angular de la relación afectivo-sexual

Abstract

RESUMEN: El amor y la relación sexual forman parte de la vida desde que existe el humano, y condiciona el desarrollo de las personas durante toda su existencia y que forman parte de un hito vital que comienza en la adolescencia. Al igual que en muchas otras necesidades y procesos vitales, pueden provocar numerosas patologías que condicionan la salud de las personas e incluso su vida. El enfermero como profesional de las ciencias del cuidado tiene la capacidad y responsabilidad de prevenir las patologías que puedan derivarse mediante la educación para la salud, sin embargo, la promoción de la salud en la adolescencia es incorrecta e insuficiente limitándose a lo biológico y médico y no posee una visión holística. Durante este trabajo queda patente la necesidad de la creación de una nueva educación afectivo-sexual y justificar porque la enfermera es la figura idónea para desempeñarla.

ABSTRACT: Love and sexual intercourse are a huge part of life since the humankind exists, conditioning the development of humans throughout our existence. These are part of a vital milestone that begins in adolescence, which is decisive to establish a healthy pathway. As in many other needs and vital processes, they can cause numerous pathologies that condition people's health and even their lives. The nurse, as a professional of the care science, has the capacity and responsibility to prevent pathologies that may arise through health education, however, the current promotion of health in adolescence is poor and inaccurate, limited to the biological and medical field, absolutely lacking any holistic vision. The aim of this project is to manifest the need for the creation of a new affective-sexual education and justify why the nurse is the ideal figure to perform it.
