Resumen/Abstract
The principle of the branched fiber bundle sensor has been known for many years. The sensor which is described in this paper is distinguished by simple fabrication, low cost and high sensitivity. It is used for measuring the displacement of the back surface of an irradiated metallic target. Plastic optical fibers (POFs) it is used.
