Resumen/Abstract
ABSTRACT: This paper is focused on electronic power distribution, specifically the study of the
behaviour of devices such as rectifiers that operate in low voltage networks in order to
rectify the signal from AC to DC and supply domestic electronic equipment. The power
supply is negatively affected by the non-linear behaviour of this devices and cause
different kinds of distortion. For this study, it will be discussed particularly the DC
component of the grid-side current which is strongly related to asymmetries and even
harmonics and can bring problems to the power quality supply such as overheating of
transformers or ground fault currents among others. In order to analyse the behaviour of
the DC current supply component, multiple scenarios will be created for different rectifier
topologies and with regard to network impedance, background distortion and the
number of connected devices
