Análisis del sector turístico

Abstract

RESUMEN Debido a la importancia que tiene el sector turístico para la economía de nuestro país, se va a realizar un análisis sobre la evolución de este sector durante los años 2019-2020, para ver la incidencia de la COVID. Para ello se centrará dicho análisis en las comunidades de Andalucía y Madrid y en los alojamientos hoteleros, campings y apartamentos turísticos. Para dar cumplimento a ese objetivo el presente trabajo comenzará describiendo qué es el sector turístico, cuáles son las actividades que engloba y sus principales características, así como la relevancia económica que posee en cuanto a aportación al PIB y empleo español se refiere. Se incluirá el consumo turístico interior y los principales retos a los que hace frente. Además, se explicará cuáles son los destinos preferidos por los españoles para viajar por la península y el consumo que generan, y cuáles son los destinos más demandados por los extranjeros que llegan y el consumo que generan. Por otro lado, haciendo referencia a la llegada de la pandemia, se incluirá un apartado en el que se vea el impacto de la misma sobre los principales países emisores de turistas a España y las comunidades que se han visto más afectadas y en qué proporción. Posteriormente se analizará cómo ha evolucionado el turismo en Andalucía y en Madrid examinando variables como el grado de ocupación, la estancia media, el número de pernoctaciones y el número de viajeros tanto nacionales como internacionales durante los dos años seleccionados. El trabajo concluirá exponiendo las conclusiones extraídas de este análisis.

ABSTRACT Due to the importance of the tourism sector for the economy of our country, an analysis will be carried out on the evolution of this sector during the years 2019-2020, to verify the impact of COVID. For this purpose, the analysis will be focused on the communities of Andalucia and Madrid and on hotel accommodation, campings and tourist apartments. To begin with, a section will be devoted to explaining what the tourism sector is, the activities it encompasses and its main characteristics, as well as its economic relevance in terms of its contribution to Spanish PIB and employment. It will include domestic tourism consumption and the main challenges it faces. In addition, it will be explained which are the destinations preferred by Spaniards to travel around the country and the consumption they generate, and which are the most demanded destinations by foreigners who arrive and also what is the consumption they generate. On the other hand, referring to the arrival of the pandemic, a section will be included in which the impact of the outbreak on the main countries of tourist origins to Spain and the communities that have been most affected and in what proportion. Focusing on the objective of the work again, we will analyze how tourism has evolved in Andalucia and Madrid in their respective tourist accommodations, examining variables such as the degree of occupancy, the average stay, the number of overnight stays and the number of both national and international travelers during the two selected years. It will end with the conclusions drawn from this analysis.
