RESUMEN: Las diferencias entre mujeres y hombres en el mercado laboral es un problema muy actual, el cual la sociedad intenta solventar con pequeños progresos. Dada la importancia de eliminar dichas diferencias, en este Trabajo Fin de Grado se describen las principales estrategias de la Unión Europea para activar el empleo, así como las metas que se persiguen con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible relacionados con el mercado de trabajo. Por otro lado, se analizan las diferencias de género a partir de la evolución de una serie de indicadores relacionados con el mercado laboral: nivel educativo, tasa de empleo, tasa de paro, tipo de educación y nivel salarial. Los resultados muestran que en algunos ámbitos las mujeres se ven más afectadas por el simple hecho de ser mujer, no siendo valoradas por su nivel de estudios, esfuerzo o trabajo
ABSTRACT: The differences between women and men in the labour market is still a current problem, which society gradually attempts to solve. Given the importance of eliminating these differences, this Final Degree Project describes the main strategies of the European Union to activate employment, as well as the objectives that are pursued with the Sustainable development Goals related to the labour market. On the other hand, gender differences are analysed based on the evolution of a series of indicators related to the labour market: educational level, employment rate, unemployment rate, type of occupation and salary level. The results show that in some areas women are more affected by the simple fact of being women, not being valued for their level of studies, effort or work.
