Los derechos de la mujer a lo largo de la historia de España

Abstract

RESUMEN: Con el presente trabajo se pretende reflejar las dificultades que sufrieron las mujeres a lo largo de la historia de España en su lucha por alcanzar la igualdad respecto al género masculino y en conseguir derechos que se las venían negando desde hacía siglos por el mero hecho de ser mujer. El análisis comienza con la II República y posterior promulgación de la Constitución del año 1931. A continuación, se aborda la Guerra Civil, la época franquista y se finaliza con un análisis de la etapa en la que nos encontramos actualmente, haciendo especial hincapié en mostrar cuáles han sido los avances a lo largo de los años y toda la trayectoria que queda aún por recorrer a pesar de todo. El trabajo se centra en dichas etapas por considerar que supusieron un elemento clave respecto a la evolución de los derechos de la mujer en España.

ABSTRACT: This paper aims to reflect the difficulties suffered by women throughout the history of Spain in their struggle to achieve equality with respect to the male gender and to obtain rights that they had been denied for centuries for the mere fact of being woman. The analysis begins with the Second Republic and subsequent promulgation of the 1931 Constitution. Next, we address the Civil War, the Franco era and conclude with an analysis of the stage in which we are currently, with particular emphasis on showing what progress has been made over the years and the entire trajectory that remains to be travelled despite everything. The work focuses on these stages because it is considered that they were a key element in the evolution of women's rights in Spain.
