Los palacios florentinos del siglo XV: arte y sociedad

Abstract

RESUMEN: Este trabajo trata el tema de los palacios florentinos desde un punto de vista iconográfico. Dejando un poco más apartado el lado descriptivo, se centrará en analizar las claves para entender los motivos por los que hubo un auge en la arquitectura palacial en el Renacimiento en Florencia, y recorrerá las características de algunos de estos palacios para ponerlas en común y llegar a conclusiones sobre qué significa su estructura, qué representa para sus dueños, y qué rol juega en la nueva sociedad.

ABSTRACT: This essay deals with Florentine palaces from an iconographic point of view. Leaving descritption aside, it will focus on analyzing the keys to understand why there was a palatial architecture boom during the Renaissance in Florence, and it will tour the characteristics of some of these palaces to put them in common and reach some conclusions about what their structure means, what they represent for their owners, and the role they play in the new society.
