México ante el conflicto español: Guerra Civil, franquismo y Transición (1936-1978)

Abstract

RESUMEN Este trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar los estudios sobre las relaciones en el ámbito internacional que se dieron entre dos naciones como son España y México, enmarcadas en un espacio de tiempo comprendido entre la Guerra Civil española, el franquismo y durante la llamada Transición. La elección de este espacio temporal viene dada debido a que es una etapa fundamental, por un lado, en la historia reciente española, marcando lo que es España hoy en día, y, por otro lado, tiene una gran importancia en las relaciones internacionales entre México y España, englobando aspectos políticos, económicos, humanitarios y diplomáticos. Para entender esto nos centraremos en la posición que va a tomar México respecto a España, con el análisis, entre otros aspectos, de los motivos que le llevaron al gobierno mexicano a tomar dicha posición de apoyo a la República

ABSTRACT The objective of this work is to analyze the studies on relations in the international sphere that occurred between two nations such as Spain and Mexico, framed in a period of time between the Spanish Civil War, the Franco regime and during the so-called Spanish Transition. The choice of this temporary space is given because it is a fundamental stage, on the one hand, in recent Spanish history, marking what Spain is today, and, on the other hand, it has a great importance in international relations between Mexico and Spain, encompassing political, economic, humanitarian, and diplomatic aspects. To understand this, we will focus on the position that Mexico is going to take with respect to Spain, with the analysis, among other aspects, of the reasons that led the Mexican government to take this position of support for the Republic.
