Integración de G-Suite en CIFRA Educación

Abstract

RESUMEN: CIFRA es una plataforma software para la gestión integral de centros de enseñanza que da soporte tanto a los procesos administrativos como de enseñanza-aprendizaje de dichos centros. Utilizando CIFRA, los centros pueden realizar actividades tan diversas como enviar circulares a las familias de los alumnos, comunicar electrónicamente las calificaciones de los alumnos a los sistemas de las Consejerías de Educación que correspondan o planificar las actividades didácticas a realizar dentro de un aula. CIFRA se encuentra actualmente implantado en multitud de centros de enseñanza distribuidos a lo largo de toda la geografía española. En los últimos meses, algunos clientes de CIFRA han empezado a utilizar en combinación con esta plataforma la herramienta Google Classroom. Esta herramienta da soporte a los procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje y ofrece características con las cuales cifra puede difícilmente competir, como una casi directa integración de documentos colaborativos de Google Drive dentro de la organización de las actividades. Por tanto, algunos clientes de CIFRA ha manifestado su interés en poder utilizar ambas plataformas simultáneamente, para lo que sería conveniente que ambas plataformas pudiesen interoperar y sincronizar aquellos datos que necesiten compartir. Por ejemplo, sería interesante poder organizar actividades con soporte virtual a través de Google Classroom y una vez finalizadas estas actividades poder transferir sus calificaciones a CIFRA. Este Trabajo Fin de Grado surge con el objetivo de satisfacer dicha necesidad y tratara, por tanto, de ampliar la plataforma CIFRA con una serie de nuevas funcionalidades que permitan la interoperabilidad y coexistencia de CIFRA y Google Classroom dentro de un mismo centro educativo.

ABSTRACT: CIFRA is a platform for the complete managment of education institutions that supports both administrative and teaching-learning processes. Using CIFRA, this institutions can carry out as diverse activities as sending circulars letters to the families, electronically communicate the grades of the students to the corresponding Ministry of Education systems or plan the di dactic activities to be carried out within a classroom. CIFRA is currently established in a large number of educational institutions all over Spain. In the last months, some CIFRA clients have started to use Google Classroom platform in combination with CIFRA. This platform supports the teaching-learning processes and offers so me features with which CIFRA can hardly compete, such as an almost complete integration with Google Drive collaborative documents when organizing activities inside the platform. Therefore, some clients have expressed their interest in being able to use both platforms simultaneously, for which it would be convenient that both platforms could interoperate and synchronize the data they need to share. For example, it would be interesting to be able to organize activities with virtual support through Google Classroom and once the activities are finished, be able to transfer the marks to CIFRA. This Bachelor’s Degree Final Project arises with the objective of cover this need and expand CIFRA with new functionalities that allow the interoperability and coexistence of CIFRA and Google Classroom within the same educational institutions.
