Dos géneros, ¿igualdad a la hora de conciliar?

Abstract

RESUMEN: Las mujeres a lo largo de la historia han luchado por conseguir sus derechos y libertades intentando vencer al rol que la sociedad ha instalado en ellas. Este rol es caracterizado por el cuidado de la familia y hacer las tareas del hogar. Al principio la mujer no podía trabajar fuera de casa ya que o estaba mal visto o sus maridos no se lo permitían, ya que siempre han estado sometidas. Por ello, en este trabajo vamos a intentar entender tanto la historia de cómo la mujer a luchado por cada uno de los derechos que tiene actualmente y como han conseguido una “igualdad” de género, basándonos en datos. Así mismo, entraremos a ver como la mujer ha vivido la pandemia del COVID-19, ya que es una realidad tangible el hecho de que las mujeres han perdido más trabajos en proporción a los hombres. Y por último, el confinamiento vivido en marzo de 2020 hizo que todo el mundo tuviese que permanecer en sus casas durante casi 3 meses, esto, ¿cómo afecto al peso del trabajo no remunerado de las mujeres?

ABSTRACT: Throughout history, women have fought for their rights and freedoms by trying to overcome the role that society has installed in them. This role is characterised by caring for the family and doing housework. At the beginning, women could not work outside the home because it was either frowned upon or their husbands did not allow them to do so, as they have always been subjugated. Therefore, in this work we will try to understand both the history of how women have fought for each of the rights they currently have and how they have achieved gender "equality", based on data. We will also look at how women have lived through the COVID-19 pandemic, as it is a tangible reality that women have lost more jobs in proportion to men. And finally, the confinement experienced in March 2020 meant that everyone had to stay at home for almost 3 months, how did this affect the burden of women's unpaid work?
