Propuesta de itinerario turístico-cultural como herramienta para la puesta en valor del patrimonio territorial en el curso medio del Pas y final del Pisueña (Cantabria)

Abstract

RESUMEN En el presente trabajo se pretende establecer la propuesta de un itinerario turístico-cultural en los municipios de Castañeda, Puente Viesgo, Santiurde de Toranzo y Corvera de Toranzo, situados en la cuenca media del río Pas y en la confluencia de éste con el tramo final del río Pisueña. Esta propuesta se basa en la puesta en valor del patrimonio territorial de esta área. Para ello hay que tener en cuenta el patrimonio cultural y natural existente y hacer un análisis integrador desde el punto de vista paisajístico. Asimismo, para la elaboración de este itinerario turístico-cultural, se va a tomar como referencia de partida la denominada “Vía Verde del Pas” en los tramos de la misma que discurren por cada uno de los municipios mencionados anteriormente. Dicha vía nos servirá de guía para estructurar y realizar el recorrido y sus posibles variantes o alternativas, con el objetivo de identificar y aglutinar conjuntamente el patrimonio natural y cultural existente, y hacer un análisis para la difusión de este patrimonio con fines de uso turístico-cultural y de ocio sostenible.

ABSTRACT The proyect aims to establish a proposal for a tourist-cultural itinerary in the municipalities of Castañeda, Puente Viesgo, Santiude de Toranzo and Corvera de Toranzo (Cantabria, Spain), situated in the middle of the Pas river basin and in the confluence with the final section of the Pisueña river. This purpose is based on the valorization of the territorial heritage of this area. For this, the cultural and natural heritage located in the area must be taken into account together with an integrative analysis from the landscape point of view. Likewise, for the elaboration of the itinerary, the “Pas Green Way” sections along the municipalities mentioned above will be taken as a starting reference. This way will serve as a guide to structure and carry out the itinerary and its possible variants or alternatives, in order to identity and bring together the existing natural and cultural heritage, and to make a distribution analyses of this heritage for tourist use purposes and sustainable leisure.
