Estrategias de intervención para la reversión industrial de Torrelavega

Abstract

RESUMEN: Debido a las recesiones económicas de los años 80 y comienzos del siglo XXI, las ciudades industriales en declive han experimentado procesos de retroceso demográfico, económico, social y ambiental. La solución a este problema es la búsqueda de estrategias de intervención para la reversión industrial de ciudades en declive, que, como Torrelavega, ha experimentado un decrecimiento urbano desde finales del siglo XX, para conseguir de nuevo un crecimiento industrial, socioeconómico y ambiental ajustado a las nuevas condiciones y retos en el sistema global.

ABSTRACT: Due to the economic recessions of the 80s and the beginnings of the 20th century, industrial cities in decline have experienced demographic, economic, social and environment process of regression. The solution to this problem, is the search of intervention strategies for industrial reversal of the decline cities, which, such as Torrelavega, has experienced an urban decline since the end of the 20th century, to achieve industrial, socioeconomic, and environmental growth trimed to the new conditions and challenges in global system.
