La gran recesión de 2008 y los nuevos movimientos migratorios en España

Abstract

RESUMEN: La gran recesión iniciada en 2008 puso en jaque a todo el sistema económico-financiero mundial. Iniciada en los Estados Unidos debido a la cantidad de hipotecas basura entregadas por los bancos a cualquier ciudadano sin atender a su historial o capacidad económica, consiguió echar por tierra las teorías económico-modernas que creían en el libre mercado y en la desregularización. Rápidamente se contagió a España, sumergida en una gran burbuja inmobiliaria al más puro estilo americano, alcanzando tasas de paro de hasta el 25% y haciendo que se produjeran nuevos movimientos migratorios basados en emigrantes cualificados dirigidos hacia países de la órbita europea que les brindarían las oportunidades negadas en España.

ABSTRACT: The great recession that began in 2008 put the entire world economic financial system in check. Started in the United States of America, due to the amount of ‘garbage’ mortgages given by banks to any citizen without caring about their economic capacity, managed to waste modern economic theories that believed in the free market and deregulation. It quickly spread to Spain, submerged in a great real estate bubble in its purest American style, reaching unemployment rates of up to 25% and causing new migratory movements based on qualified emigrants directed towards countries of the European orbit that would provide the opportunities that were being denied in Spain.
