Sexismo lingüístico y competencia comunicativa: el papel de Lengua Castellana y Literatura en Educación Secundaria desde una perspectiva coeducativa

Abstract

RESUMEN El presente trabajo aborda la problemática del sexismo lingüístico desde una perspectiva educativa y, en concreto, desde el área de Lengua Castellana y Literatura. El primer objetivo de la investigación es analizar una muestra de libros de texto con el fin de comprobar si existen contenidos que traten el sexismo lingüístico y el lenguaje no sexista, en consonancia con el modelo coeducativo y lo dispuesto en el marco legal. Para ello, se realiza un análisis cualitativo de los contenidos de los libros de texto de Lengua Castellana y Literatura. Los resultados permiten determinar la ausencia del tratamiento de dicha problemática y las carencias respecto a lo estipulado en la normativa. Atendiendo a estos resultados, se persigue el segundo objetivo: presentar una propuesta didáctica que incluya el tratamiento del sexismo lingüístico y el lenguaje no sexista en Lengua Castellana y Literatura desde una perspectiva coeducativa. Se pretende así paliar la ausencia de contenidos relacionados con este tema y alcanzar la plena adquisición de la competencia comunicativa del alumnado, creando conciencia sobre los usos discriminatorios del lenguaje y transmitiendo modelos que se ajusten a la realidad social como parte de un aprendizaje funcional y significativo.

ABSTRACT This project addresses the problem of linguistic sexism from an educational perspective and, specifically, from the area of Spanish Language and Literature. The first purpose of the research is to analyze a sample of textbooks with the aim of checking if there is content that deals with linguistic sexism and non-sexist language, in line with the coeducational model and the provisions as set out in the legal framework. To that end, a qualitative analysis of the contents of the Spanish Language and Literature textbooks is conducted. The results determine the absence of treatment of said problem and the deficiencies with respect to what is stipulated in the legal regulations. Based on these results, the second purpose is aimed: to present a didactic proposal that includes the treatment of linguistic sexism and non-sexist language in Spanish Language and Literature from a coeducational perspective. The aim is thus to alleviate the absence of content related to this topic and to achieve the full acquisition of the communicative competence of the students, creating awareness about the discriminatory uses of the language and transmitting models that adjust to social reality as part of a functional and meaningful learning.
