El cómic como recurso en el aula de Historia: una propuesta didáctica en torno a El arte de volar

Abstract

RESUMEN: El uso del cómic en el aula es, sin duda, una herramienta de gran utilidad pedagógica en la educación secundaria. En este trabajo se propone la utilización de El arte de volar, obra del escritor Antonio Altarriba y del dibujante Kim, como apoyo en la enseñanza de Historia en 4º de la ESO, puesto que a través de este cómic se pueden ilustrar de forma clara y amena algunos de los aspectos más relevantes del currículum referentes a la Historia de España en el siglo XX, tal y como se verá en la propuesta didáctica de este trabajo. Para ello, se comenzará viendo de que maneras se puede utilizar el cómic en el aula y que posibilidades ofrece. A continuación, se observarán los aspectos históricos que son representados en El arte de volar y como encajan en el currículo de la asignatura. Por último, se desarrollará en base a todo ello una propuesta didáctica.

ABSTRACT: The use of the comic in the classroom is, clearly, a useful pedagogic instrument in secondary education. In this paper it is proposed the use of The art of flying, work of the writer Antonio Altarriba and the cartoonist Kim, as a support in the teaching of History at 4º ESO, since through this comic it can be illustrated in a clear and entertaining way some of the most important aspects of the curriculum regarding the history of Spain in the 20th century, as will be seen in the didactic proposal of this paper. In order to do this, it will begin by seeing in what ways the comic can be used in the classroom and what possibilities it offers. Then, it will be observed the historical aspects that are represented in The art of flying and how they fit into the curriculum of the subject. Finally, it will be developed a didactic proposal based on all this.
