Conservación del patrimonio industrial de Cantabria, estudio de sus elementos BIC

Abstract

RESUMEN: Cantabria cuenta con un Patrimonio Industrial de gran importancia, en los últimos años su puesta en valor ha ido en aumento ya que ha despertado un gran interés desde un punto de vista arquitectónico y cultural. Uno de los retos a los que se enfrenta este patrimonio es su conservación y divulgación. El objetivo de este trabajo es realizar un estudio de la situación actual de los tres únicos elementos BIC con los que cuenta la Comunidad de Cantabria en cuanto a patrimonio industrial se refiere, así como analizar la protección que confiere la legislación autonómica a estos bienes. Además, mediante su divulgación sensibilizar a la población sobre la necesidad de preservar este tipo de patrimonio.

ABSTRACT: Cantabria has an Industrial Heritage of great importance. In recent years, its value has been increasing and it has aroused a great interest from an architectural and cultural point of view. One of the challenges facing this heritage is its conservation and dissemination. The aim of this paper is to carry out a study of the current situation of the only three BIC elements that the Region of Cantabria has in terms of Industrial Heritage, as well as to analyze the protection that the regional legislation gives to these goods. In addition, raise public awareness of the need to preserve this type of heritage through its dissemination.
