Estudio de la evolución e impacto de los flujos turísticos por vía marítima: El caso de Britanny Ferries

Abstract

RESUMEN: Este trabajo de fin de grado tiene como objetivo principal el estudio del transporte marítimo, aquel que ofrece servicios de línea regular para pasajeros y vehículos entre puntos de origen y destinos fijos. Para ello se hace una investigación de la historia del puerto de Santander junto con los primeros ferries de Britanny Ferries. El estudio se concreta en la llegada al puerto de Santander del ferri que une el sur de Gran Bretaña y Santander a través de la línea regular que mantiene la compañía Brittany Ferries desde hace 43 años. El trabajo acaba con un resumen de la actividad económica del puerto de Santander y la entrevista con punto final a Modesto Piñeiro.

ABSTRACT: The aim this Project is the study of maritime transport, which offers regular lines services for passengers and vehicles, between points of origin and fixed destinations. For this purpose, an investigation of the history of the port of Santander with the first ferries of Brittany Ferries. The study is centre don Ferry´s arrivals in Santander, which links the south of Great Britain and Santander trough a regular line mainted by Brittany Ferries during 43 years. This work ends with a summary of the economic activity of the port of Santander and the final point is an interview to Modesto Piñeiro.
