Un profesional enfermero en los centros educativos, garantía de una vida adulta saludable

Abstract

RESUMEN: La continuidad de la ciencia del cuidado, así como la especificidad de las demandas de la población actual, ha llevado a los profesionales enfermeros a especializarse en distintas áreas del conocimiento para dar respuesta a unas necesidades cada vez más concretas. Las instituciones sanitarias, sobre todo tras la pandemia por Covid-19, están realizando un importante esfuerzo por asegurar la calidad del cuidado del colectivo infantil y adolescente mediante la inclusión de enfermeros escolares en los centros educativos, su segundo hogar, con el objetivo de asegurar un estado óptimo de salud y bienestar tanto individual como colectivo. En este trabajo queda patente la necesidad de impulsar la presencia de enfermeros y enfermeras en el medio escolar para hacer frente a problemas que no se pueden resolver por las familias ni profesores de manera autónoma, sino que es necesaria la cohesión de todos los responsables de su educación para, así, promover la protección eficaz del futuro de nuestra generación

ABSTRACT: The continuity of the science of care, as well as such specific demands of the current population, has led nursing professionals to specialize in different fields of knowledge responding to increasingly specific needs. The health institutions, especially after the Covid-19 pandemic, are doing their best effort to guarantee the quality of children and adolescent care with the inclusion of school nurses in education centers, their second home, with the objective of fostering an optimal health and well-being, both individual and collective. The aim of this project is to show the need to promote the presence of nurses in schools in order to deal with problems that can not be resolved by families and teachers autonomously; the cohesion of all those responsible for their education is necessary to effectively ensure the protection of the future of our generation
