El Convenio de Estambul sobre prevención y lucha contra la violencia contra la mujer y la violencia doméstica

Abstract

Resumen: El presente trabajo tiene por objeto el estudio pormenorizado del Convenio del Consejo de Europa sobre prevención y lucha contra la violencia contra la mujer y la violencia doméstica del 11 de mayo de 2011 (en adelante Convenio de Estambul o Convención de Estambul), comenzando por su compleja elaboración y el contenido preciso del documento. De igual modo, abordará la incidencia de este instrumento en el sistema español, y su adecuación del ordenamiento jurídico interno, de conformidad con la valoración del GREVIO en su informe más reciente. En último lugar, el trabajo versará de forma concisa, sobre su repercusión en la perspectiva de género de la sustracción internacional de menores

Abstract: The aim of this proyect is to study in detail the Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence of May 11, 2011 (in the following pages, Instambul Convention), starting with its complicated elaboration, and then, the content of this document. Besides, the aim will be to analyze the incidence of this instrument in the Spanish System and its adaptation to the nacional legal system. The latter, in accordance with the most recent report by GREVIO. Finally, the work will briefly deal about the impact of this convention on the gender perspective of international child abduction.
