El arte de La Laguna de la Nava (Palencia) durante los siglos XV-XVII: Becerril de Campos y Paredes de Nava

Abstract

RESUMEN: El trabajo comprende el estudio del complejo artístico que recorre todo el perímetro de la zona orográfica de la Laguna de la Nava dentro de la provincia palentina en la comunidad autónoma de Castilla y León. Realizamos un análisis del complejo y amplio conjunto artístico civil y religioso de la zona, focalizado en los pueblos de Becerril de Campos y Paredes de Nava. Pueblos que contienen piezas de gran valor artístico. El trabajo delimita mi búsqueda de este arte, en el desarrollado desde el siglo XV hasta finales del siglo XVII. Se persigue conocer la importancia de estas localidades en su recorrido histórico y por supuesto, estudiar los distintos artistas tanto locales como foráneos que crearon y dejaron sus obras, engrandeciendo de tal forma a estos pequeños pueblos de la comarca de la Nava, a través de una bibliografía que atiende a todos los aspectos mencionados.

ABSTRACT: The final degree includes the study of the artistic complex that runs around the entire perimeter of the orographic area of the Laguna de la Nava in the province of Palencia in the autonomous community of Castilla y León. We carried out an analysis of the complex and extensive religious and civil artistic heritage of the area, focusing on the villages of Becerril de Campos and Paredes de Nava. These villages contain pieces of great artistic value. The degree delimits my search for this art, in the one developed from the 15th century to the end of the 17th century. In addition, the aim is to discover the importance of these localities in their history and, of course, to study the different local and foreign artists who created and left their works, thus enhancing these small villages in the Nava region, by means of a bibliography that covers all the aspects mentioned.
