La motivación en los programas AICLE en Educación Primaria: el diseño de una investigación de carácter longitudinal

Abstract

RESUMEN Este trabajo presenta un resumen de la bibliografía disponible sobre AICLE en Europa, y más concretamente en España, centrándose en la motivación, dentro del ámbito de los factores afectivos. Tras comentar las teorías, investigaciones y constructos se plantea un proyecto de investigación longitudinal en alumnos de 4º de Educación Primaria en la comunidad autónoma de Cantabria, siendo sus objetivos estudiar las diferencias en la motivación entre programas AICLE y no-AICLE, la variación de la misma a lo largo del tiempo, y su relación con la competencia lingüística y el autoconcepto del alumnado. Finalmente, se exponen los resultados esperados y conclusiones, en general destacando el efecto positivo de AICLE en el proceso de aprendizaje, así como las limitaciones y sugerencias para futuras investigaciones.

ABSTRACT This paper presents a summary of the available literature on CLIL in Europe, and more specifically in Spain, focusing on motivation, within the field of affective factors. After commenting on theories, research and constructs, a longitudinal research project is presented on 4th year Primary School pupils in the autonomous community of Cantabria, the objectives being to study the differences in motivation between CLIL and non CLIL programmes, its variation over time, and its relationship with pupils' language proficiency and self-concept. Finally, the expected results and conclusions are presented, in general highlighting the positive effect of CLIL on the learning process, as well as the limitations and suggestions for future research.
