Barreras en el ámbito escolar del alumnado con discapacidad auditiva: propuesta de sensibilización

Abstract

RESUMEN The purpose of this Final Degree Project is to carry out an analysis of all those educational barriers presented by deaf students, as well as to propose an intervention programme through which it is intended to raise awareness of this disability among students in a primary school classroom. To do so, first of all, the theoretical part will explain what this impairment is about, also referring to some existing myths in the world of the deaf community, the working models used with these people will also be discussed, followed by an analysis of educational barriers. Afterwards, a study will be carried out in which it will try to find out the knowledge that primary school pupils have about basic issues of hearing impairment, and finally, as a result of this study and the results obtained in that one, it will be present the design of the intervention proposal, whose aim 4 is to raise awareness among peers in order to try to eliminate educational barriers in the school environment.

ABSTRACT Se ha elegido este tema debido al interés de la autora gracias a la formación recibida en la mención de Audición y Lenguaje. Los conocimientos adquiridos en esta han propiciado la motivación para desarrollar esta propuesta de Trabajo de Fin de Grado, viendo como una necesidad primordial el hecho de visibilizar la discapacidad auditiva y sensibilizar a las personas oyentes desde la etapa escolar. Se pretende concienciar de la gran importancia de recibir una buena formación e información, sin concepciones erróneas o tergiversadas, para tratar de eliminar todos aquellos mitos, estereotipos y prejuicios existentes sobre el mundo de la discapacidad auditiva.
