El arte como maniobra para la educación inclusiva: aprendizaje basado en problemas

Abstract

RESUMEN Actualmente, los sistemas educativos y centros de enseñanza se muestran a favor de la inclusión –defendiéndola e indagando sobre su ubicación–, pero son muchas las instituciones educativas que se encuentran con barreras u obstáculos tales como la falta de formación del profesorado, escasa participación del alumnado o un clima laboral desfavorable, problemas que por desgracia siguen vigentes en los colegios. Este trabajo trata este tema empleando la metodología de aprendizaje basado en problemas y el trabajo artístico, como algo necesario para poder avanzar en el fin de conseguir una educación inclusiva. El objetivo de dicho proyecto es mostrar al alumnado la diversidad social y cultural que enriquece la sociedad y como poder beneficiarse de ella, a través de la exposición de problemas, y la búsqueda de soluciones que se plasmarán a través de dibujos; pretendiendo conseguir ayudar a aquellos profesores interesados en realizar propuestas innovadoras y a su vez, en mostrar el valor de las artes en el camino hacia la inclusión educativa.

ABSTRACT Nowadays, education systems and schools are in favour of inclusion –defending and seeking it– but many educational institutions have to face with barriers or obstacles such as lack of teacher training, poor student participation or an unfavourable working environment, problems that unfortunately still exist in schools. This work deals with this issue by working with problem-based learning methodology and artistic work, as something necessary in order to make progress towards achieving inclusive education. The aim of this project is to show students the social and cultural diversity that enriches society and how to benefit from it, through the exposure of problems, and the search for solutions that will be expressed through drawings. The aim is to help teachers interested in making innovative proposals and, in turn, to show the value of the arts in the path towards educational inclusion.
