Poesía y competencia lingüística en Educación Primaria. Propuesta de poemas y autores

Abstract

RESUMEN A pesar de que actualmente encontramos diversos contenidos en lo referente a poesía en el currículum de las distintas etapas de Educación Primaria, este género tiene un papel secundario en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje frente al de otros géneros literarios. El género poético constituye un gran recurso didáctico para lograr un desarrollo íntegro del alumnado puesto que engloba numerosas herramientas metodológicas que fomentan la adquisición de la competencia lingüística en las aulas de Educación Primaria. Se realiza un análisis exhaustivo del contexto, papel, características y beneficios de la poesía en Educación Primaria para la adquisición de la competencia lingüística. Asimismo, también se realiza una selección justificada de diversos autores y poemas, para finalmente dar paso a la exposición de una secuencia didáctica que fomente la creatividad, la sensibilidad, el desarrollo del lenguaje y la educación en valores.

ABSTRACT Although we currently find several contents related to poetry in the curriculum of the different stages of Primary Education, this genre has a secondary role in the teaching-learning process compared to other literary genres. The poetic genre is a great didactic resource to achieve a complete development of the students since it includes numerous methodological tools that promote the acquisition of linguistic competence in Primary Education classrooms. An exhaustive analysis of the context is carried out, role, characteristics, and benefits of poetry in Primary Education for the acquisition of linguistic competence. Likewise, a justified selection of different authors and poems is also made, to finally give way to the exposition of a didactic sequence that fosters creativity, sensitivity, language development and values education.
