El presente trabajo busca analizar a través de la política exterior de Estados Unidos
y de la historia de las relaciones internacionales como se transformó el orden
internacional tras el final de la Guerra Fría. El final de la Guerra Fría no solo trajo consigo
el liderazgo estadounidense, sino también la creación de un nuevo orden internacional
donde el poder no solo residía en la superpotencia, sino también en organizaciones como
las Naciones Unidas y en el auge de una nueva conflictividad. A través de las presidencias
de George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton y George Bush analizaremos el liderazgo
estadounidense y su repercusión en la posguerra fría y el comienzo del nuevo siglo
In this present work we will analyze through the U.S foreign policy and the history
of international relations how the international order changed after the end of the Cold
War. The end of the Cold War not only had as a consequence the American leadership,
but also the creation of a new international order where power not only resided in the
superpower, but also in organizations such as the United Nations and in the rise of new
conflicts. Through the presidencies of George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton and George Bush,
we will analyze US leadership and its impact in the post-Cold War order and the
beginning of the new century.
