Diseño, contenidos y actividades para un centro de interpretación de la naturaleza como recurso educativo para primaria: “descubriendo las cuevas del monte Castillo”.

Abstract

RESUMEN:Los restos arqueológicos y el arte rupestre se pueden utilizar como recursos didácticos para obtener aprendizajes más significativos respecto al conocimiento de la historia del lugar (Ávila, Cruz y Díez, 2008). Por ello, el presente trabajo ofrece una unidad didáctica que trata de dar respuesta a la escasa presencia de recursos educativos relativos a la etapa prehistórica en relación con los patrimonios históricos, culturales y naturales de la Comunidad Autónoma de Cantabria, más concretamente a las cuevas del Monte Castillo: El Castillo y Las Monedas. En ella se recogen actividades de preparación, visita y ampliación para el alumnado del tercer curso de Educación Primaria.

ABSTRACT: Archaeological remains and rock art can be used as didactic resources to obtain more significant learning regarding the knowledge of the history of the place (Ávila, Cruz and Díez, 2008) For this reason, the present work offers a didactic unit that tries to respond to the scarce presence of educational resources related to the prehistoric stage in relation to the historical, cultural and natural heritages of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria, more specifically to the caves of the Monte Castillo: The Castle and Las Monedas. It includes preparation, visit and extension activities for students in the third year of Primary Education.
