LOMLOE: la transformación de los centros de educación especial (CEE) y el debate en los medios de comunicación

Abstract

RESUMEN: La nueva Ley de Educación, la LOMLOE (2020), propone realizar una serie de cambios en la escolarización del alumnado con necesidades educativas especiales (NEE) y en la organización de los centros de educación especial, con el objetivo de construir un sistema educativo más inclusivo. Esto no ha sido bien recibido por toda la sociedad española, por lo que se ha despertado mucho revuelo y polémica entre la misma, siendo esto reflejado por los medios de comunicación. Es por ello, objetivo de este trabajo indagar, recopilar y analizar las noticas y vídeos difundidos por estos medios, para conocer y comprender los discursos que en torno a esta ley se han ido construyendo y que colocan a la educación especial versus la educación inclusiva.

ABSTRACT: The new education law, the LOMLOE (2020), has introduced changes in the schooling of children with special educational needs and in the organization of special schools, with the aim to promote a more inclusive educational system. This has not been well received for everyone in Spain and this has caused some uproar and controversy among the Spanish society as reflected in the media. For this reason, the aim of this study is to investigate, compile and analyse the news and videos disseminated by the media to find out and understand the arguments that have been built around the LOMLOE regarding special education versus inclusive education.
