Creación de un alojamiento turístico sostenible en la comarca de la costa occidental de Cantabria

Abstract

RESUMEN: En el presente trabajo de fin de grado procederemos a desarrollar, como idea de negocio, la creación de Mar de Fondo, un albergue sostenible a las afueras de Santillana del Mar (Cantabria), concretamente en el Barrio Herrán. La sostenibilidad económica, social y ambiental, junto con la innovación, serán los pilares fundamentales del proyecto, que atraerán a un nicho de mercado específico para nuestro servicio, por tanto, desarrollaremos cada uno de los pilares y las medidas que tomaremos para que el proyecto se considere un alojamiento turístico sostenible. Este documento comenzará con una pequeña introducción contextual del turismo sostenible y su evolución, pasando por los aspectos legales hasta llegar a casos de éxitos de modelos de negocio similares alrededor del mundo. Tras definir nuestros objetivos, realizaremos el desarrollo de la oferta turística del establecimiento y gracias las encuestas realizadas, analizaremos en profundidad a nuestro cliente objetivo y realizaremos un análisis DAFO para resaltar nuestras debilidades, amenazas, fortalezas y oportunidades, creando así un servicio adaptado a nuestras necesidades y a las del cliente.

ABSTRACT: In this final degree project, we will proceed to develop, as a business idea, the creation of Mar de Fondo, a sustainable hostel on the outskirts of Santillana del Mar (Cantabria), specifically in the Herrán neighborhood. Economic, social and environmental sustainability, along with innovation, will be the fundamental pillars of the project, which will attract a specific market niche for our service; therefore, we will develop each of the pillars and the measures that we will take so that the project is considered a sustainable tourist accommodation. This document will begin with a short contextual introduction to sustainable tourism and its evolution, going through the legal aspects until reaching cases of successes of similar business models around the world. After defining our objectives, we will carry out the development of the tourist offer of the establishment and thanks to the surveys carried out; we will analyze in depth our target client and carry out a SWOT analysis to highlight our strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities thus creating a service adapted to our needs and those of the client.
