Páginas web en francés sobre España y Cantabria como destinos turísticos

Abstract

RESUMEN: Las páginas web de turismo son una de las primeras fuentes de información utilizadas por los viajeros a la hora de seleccionar un destino y organizar un viaje. Por eso es esencial que las webs inspiren confianza y seguridad a la vez que ayuden al viajero a elegir su destino. En la primera parte de este trabajo, propongo descripciones puntuales de las páginas web de turismo oficiales de España y Cantabria en su versión francesa. Estudio el diseño, la imagen, la usabilidad y la estructura entre otros aspectos. La segunda parte del trabajo consiste en analizar la traducción al francés de la página de inicio de la web turismodecantabria.com y detectar los errores. También propongo unas sugerencias de traducción para cada error encontrado. En la conclusión, expongo algunas alternativas de contenido de las webs turísticas para poder optar por una traducción profesional.

ABSTRACT: Tourism web pages are one of the first sources of information used by travellers when selecting a destination and organising a trip. Therefore, it is essential that these web pages inspire confidence and are trustworthy while helping the voyager when it comes to choosing the destination. In the first part of this dissertation I propose detailed descriptions of the official tourism websites of Spain and Cantabria in their French version. Among other aspects I shall analyse their design, image, usability and structure. The second part of the dissertation consists in analysing the translation into French of the homepage of the website turismodecantabria.com and detecting mistranslations. I also propose some translation suggestions for each error. In the conclusion, I shall provide some alternatives for the content of the tourism web pages in order to be able to attain a more professional translation.
