Gestión turística integral de playas

Abstract

RESUMEN: Son muchos los países que utilizan sus playas como producto turístico principal y como foco receptor de turistas. La población mundial cada vez tiene más comodidades y tiempo libre, esto permite el viajar y relajarse en múltiples destinos haciendo que la importancia del sector turístico crezca constantemente. Por este motivo resulta importante aprovechar al máximo los recursos que posee cada destino para obtener el mayor beneficio de los que dispone. De esto es de lo que va a tratar el trabajo. De la creciente importancia del turismo de sol y playa, de cómo deberían ser gestionadas las playas y de cómo verdaderamente lo son en la actualidad. Tras la descripción de algunos factores, el TFG definirá cómo son gestionadas las playas en estos tiempos y con todos los conocimientos adquiridos a lo largo del estudio, será el momento de realizar el plan o propuesta de una correcta gestión integral en playas turísticas. Esta situación permitirá definir algunas oportunidades de desarrollo, concretamente en la segunda playa del Sardinero, la más transitada de Santander. Para ello se realizarán entrevistas tanto a locales como a turistas y empresarios de la zona para poder saber las diferentes perspectivas que tienen sobre un mismo tema la oferta y la demanda.

ABSTRACT: The sea sun and sand tourism is more and more important, not only in Santander, but in all around the world. The beaches play an important role on the development of this kind of tourism. This is the reason why it has been decided to do this research about the management of the beaches, specifically on the second beach in the Sardinero area. The Sardinero is located in Santander, a seaside city in the north of Spain. Santander is the capital of Cantabria and its most populated city. Santander is characterized by its lively city center, interesting museums, beautiful gardens, nature preserves and, the most important, the excellent beaches. On this research it is going to be compared the situation of the second beach of Sardinero with some of the most famous beaches which had to go through different situations and have become an example to follow by other nowadays or the opposite, an example about what we should not do if we want to the successful. Also, it is going to be investigated all the facilities and amenities that this beach and the surroundings offers to our tourist and locals. Some locals, tourists and enterprises around the area of the Sardinero beach are going to be interviewed to have an idea about their feelings and opinions about this beach; it could be very helpful to make better decisions and to know if we are on the right track. The Sardinero beach is a fantastic and a magnificent natural resource. Our right and duty as Santander population is let all the people use and enjoy it, taking advantage of all the delights that this beach offers.
