dc.description.abstract	RESUMEN: Este artículo explica el momento historiográfico en que se publicó L'homme espagnol. Analiza las aportaciones científicas más importantes de ese momento en el campo de la historia de la cultura popular. Se subrayan aquí los elementos que contribuyeron a construir las bases de la moderna historiografía sobre esta materia, así como su vigencia en la investigación actual para superar acríticos lugares comunes, arquetipos o prejuicios.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	ABSTRACT: This article explains the historiographic moment in which L'homme espagnol was published analyzing the most important scientific contributions of that moment in the field of the history of popular culture. The elements that contributed to building the foundations of modern historiography on this matter are underlined here, as well as their validity in current research to overcome uncritical archetypes and prejudices.	es_ES
