Turismo histórico-cultural: Asentamientos romanos en Cantabria

Abstract

RESUMEN: Con este proyecto de Fin de Grado se busca realizar un estudio acerca de los restos romanos descubiertos en nuestra región, poco conocidos y escasamente valorados por la mayoría de la población, a pesar de la importancia histórica que los mismos historiadores latinos dieron en sus escritos a las Guerras Cántabras y al proceso de romanización posterior. Para ello, se pretende hacer una investigación sobre dichos atractivos y las formas de potenciarlo como un recurso turístico más de nuestra región, mediante la creación de una ruta turística histórico cultural.

ABSTRACT: This project seeks to make a study of the archaeological Roman remains which were discovered in our region. Many of them are unknown and barely taken seriously by most of the population, even though they are historically very important for most latin historians who had shown manuscripts about the ‘’Guerras Cántabras’’ and the subsequent process of Romanization. For this reason, the project aims to do a research about this tourist attractions and the ways to increase its visits in our region, by creating a cultural historical tourist route.
