Ghibli, la educación hecha película. De los sueños a las aulas

Abstract

RESUMEN: El alumnado de Educación Infantil carece, casi en su totalidad, de una correcta tutorización que le ayude llevar a cabo una adecuada visualización y análisis de los contenidos cinematográficos de los que es partícipe, los cuales son muy sustanciosos teniendo en cuenta la sociedad audiovisual actual. Es por esta misma razón, por la que queremos dar visibilidad al cine de animación como material y recurso didáctico en las aulas, buscando el trabajo en valores, el desarrollo de las emociones, la importancia de la familia o el cuidado al Medio Ambiente. Y, para ello, proponemos la filmografía de los Studios Ghibli y Hayao Miyazaki como base para este aprendizaje, ya que se trata del estudio cinematográfico con más profundidad y potencial educativo de todo el mundo.

ABSTRACT : The students of Early Childhood Education lack, almost entirely, a qualified mentor or guide who helps them in the task of learning how to use and analyze films as an educational resource, when Cinema has become a formative tool of paramount interest in the present audio-visual society. So, it is our aim to promote animation films as a privileged teaching material in the classroom, indispensable for Education in Values, as well as for the development of positive emotions. Moreover, these films can be used for teaching another topics of interest, as family relationships and the protection of environment. As a basis of this task, we will enlighten the films produced by Studio Ghibli, and mainly Hayao Miyazaki’s Tonari no Totoro, as the basis for a significant learning, as they have become one of the most prominent animated film studios in the world, and one of the most inspiring for educational and formative purposes.
