Cantabria: Destino turístico para familias con niños

Abstract

RESUMEN: El presente trabajo fin de grado tiene como objetivo principal analizar si Cantabria es un buen destino turístico para las familias que la visitan con niños, y ver qué medidas podrían tomarse para satisfacer las necesidades que este tipo de turistas presentan. Para ello cabe analizar las opciones que la región propone hacia este nicho de mercado, y cuáles también, aun no siendo creadas para este tipo de público, puede adaptarse a él en ciertas ocasiones. Además se hará un estudio de las características generales que Cantabria presenta en relación al turismo familiar, así como un análisis detallado de los productos que ofrece para este tipo de turismo. Un apartado a destacar es el trabajo de campo que se hará, consistente en encuestas a familias que visitan la región para conocer sus expectativas, su grado de satisfacción y propuestas de mejora.

ABSTRACT: This final year project aims to analyse if Cantabria is a good tourist destination for families who visit Cantabria with children, and find out what measures could be taken to meet the needs that this type of tourists have. In order to do so, it is necessary to analyse the options that the region offers to this market niche, and other ones which, although not having been created for this type of public, can be adapted to it in certain occasions. In addition, there will be a study of the general characteristics that Cantabria presents in relation to family tourism, as well as a detailed analysis of the products offered for this type of tourism. A section to highlight is the field work that will be done, consisting of surveys of families visiting the region to know their expectations, their level of satisfaction and suggestions for improvement.
