El impacto de la previsión meteorológica en la decisión de la elección de un destino turístico

Abstract

RESUMEN: Con este Trabajo de Final de Grado se pretende estudiar la relación existente entre la meteorología y el turismo. Esto es debido a que cada vez tiene mayor importancia el recabar las previsiones meteorológicas previas para el desarrollo de la actividad turística. Numerosos tipos de turismo están asociados con el tiempo para su conveniente experiencia turística. El estudio comenzará analizando la historia de la meteorología, así como la comparación de las predicciones meteorológicas en Cantabria con respecto a la llegada de sus turistas y explicará el porqué de la importancia de la meteorología en el turismo. Para finalizar, se expondrán las conclusiones obtenidas del estudio y de las encuestas realizadas a diferentes tipos de turistas.

ABSTRACT: With this dissertation, my intention is to study the existing relationship between meteorology and tourism. This is due to the relevance of seeking out the past meteorological forecasts for the development of the tourist industry. Many types of tourism are based on weather predictions for a proper tourist experience. I will also explain the history of the meteorology, and the comparison of the meteorological forecasts in Cantabria regarding the arrival of tourists and will explain the reason why meteorology is so important in the tourism. To conclude, I will show the results obtained of the study and the surveys carried out with tourists.
