Turismo ornitológico en Cantabria

Abstract

RESUMEN: Cantabria ofrece una gran variedad de recursos naturales, los cuales, junto a al recurso aves, hacen de esta Comunidad Autónoma el destino idóneo para el disfrute del turismo ornitológico, tanto en el ámbito nacional como internacional. Sin embargo, aunque algunos agentes del sector turístico comiencen a apostar por esta variante del turismo de naturaleza, La carencias de promoción y difusión que existen en este campo, suponen una desventaja a la hora de que el Turismo Ornitológico en Cantabria se convierta en un producto turístico sostenible y de alto poder desestacionalizador respecto a otras modalidades turísticas más tradicionales.

ABSTRACT: Cantabria provides a wide range of natural resources, which, in conjunction with birds resource, make this community into an appropriate destination where ornithological tourism can be enjoyed, both in national and international stage. However, in spite of this variety of natural tourism is starting to be supported by a few agents in the tourism industry, the lack of broadcast and promotion that in this field exist, entails a weakness when it comes to become ornithological tourism in Cantabria into a sustainableand a high power of deseasonalization touristic product, in relation to the most traditional forms of tourism.
