Cambio de normativa para la categorización de hoteles en Cantabria

Abstract

RESUMEN: Incluso durante el Imperio Romano, bajo distintas circunstancias, con otros precios y otras condiciones, la hotelería se abría un hueco. Desde entonces este sector ha ido evolucionando cada vez más, encontrando actualmente infinidad de opciones a la hora de contratar un alojamiento, desde el más barato hasta el más caro, desde pensiones y hostales hasta hoteles 5* GL y grandes complejos hoteleros que nos ofrecen las mejores condiciones para sentirnos bien durante las estancias. Teniendo en cuenta que el sector turístico, y en concreto el hotelero, tienen actualmente una gran importancia a nivel económico es importante que este sector esté regulado por su correspondiente legislación. Por este motivo este Trabajo estudia la legislación hotelera europea por la que se regulan muchos de los países europeos y a la que se han adaptado también algunas de las Comunidades Autónomas Españolas como por ejemplo La Rioja o Las Islas Baleares. El objetivo final de este TFG es analizar las características de la oferta hotelera de Cantabria en sus categorías superiores, teniendo en cuenta, por una parte, la opinión de los clientes y por otra parte la opinión de directores de hoteles. A partir de esta información se extraerán conclusiones y propuestas para mejorar la situación.

ABSTRACT: Even during the Roman Empire, under different circumstances, with prices and others conditions, the hotel industry would have a gap. Since then this sector start to grow more and more, so right now we have so many options to found lodging, from the most chip to the most expensive, from inns and hostels to 5*hotels GL and big hotel resorts which offer the best conditions to feel good during the stay. Taking into account that the tourist sector, and in particular the hotelier one, currently have a great economic importance, it is important that this sector be regulated by its corresponding legislation. For this reason, this research studies the European hotel legislation that regulates many of the European countries and to which they have also adapted some of the Autonomous Spanish Communities like for example The Rioja or the Balearic Islands. The final objective of this TFG is to increase the characteristics of the hotel offer of Cantabria in its higher categories, taking into account, on the one hand the opinion of the customers and on the other hand the opinion of the hotel directors. From this information, we’ll take conclusions and make proposals to improve the situation.
