Cabañas en los árboles como alojamiento turístico

Abstract

RESUMEN: La idea de construir pequeñas cabañas en los árboles no es un concepto nuevo, ya que viene desarrollándose desde casi los orígenes del hombre. A pesar de ello, es poca la información que encontramos acerca de este tipo de construcciones y su función para el hombre a lo largo de la historia. En este trabajo de Fin de Grado se pretende estudiar la posibilidad de dar un enfoque de negocio a este tipo de construcciones y hacer de éstas un nuevo modelo de alojamiento turístico en Cantabria, concretamente en la comarca del Saja-Nansa, con el fin de ampliar e innovar la oferta siguiendo la línea de un modelo de negocio sostenible para el entorno, creando el mínimo de impacto negativo en el medio ambiente.

ABSTRACT: The desire to build treehouses is not just a whim of our century but a concept that dates as far back as the very dawn of mankind. Nevertheless, there is little information available on the construction of such lodgings throughout history and the important role they have played in the survival of certain tribes. The purpose of this dissertation is to study the potential use and development of treehouses as an accommodation business in rural Cantabria, more specifically in the Saja-Nansa area. At a time when climate change is not just a threat but a reality, the idea to create more sustainable and environmentally-friendly businesses is an imperative need in order to preserve the environment for future generations. Thus, treehouse hotels become a perfect solution to enjoy a holiday experience that makes little impact on the surroundings and also helps people connect with the natural world.
