Plan de explotación turística de la Isla de Mouro

Abstract

RESUMEN: La Isla de Mouro es un espacio protegido de gran interés natural tanto por su fauna como por su flora. En este Trabajo, se lleva a cabo un estudio de viabilidad con el fin de convertir la Isla en un recurso turístico de la Ciudad de Santander para la atracción de turistas y visitantes locales. El estudio está basado en la sostenibilidad, de manera que el impacto sobre la Isla sea el mínimo posible. Dentro del estudio de viabilidad, se hace un análisis del entorno de la Isla así como un plan comercial presentando el Centro de Interpretación de la Isla como producto turístico. También se da una visión general de la historia y situación de la Isla, y de algunas de las actividades que en ella se realizan poniendo especial atención en el buceo.

ABSTRACT: Mouro Island is a protected area of great natural interest both for its fauna and flora. In this dissertation, a feasibility study is carried out with a view to converting the Island into a tourist resource of the City of Santander for the attraction of both local and other domestic tourists. The study is based on a assuring sustainability so that the impact on the Island is as low as possible. The feasibility study includes an analysis of the Island's environment as well as a business plan presenting the Island's Interpretation Centre as a tourist product. It also gives an overview of the history and situation of the Island and some of the activities that are carried out there with special attention to diving.
