La vuelta ciclista a España a su paso por Cantabria: Influencia en el turismo

Abstract

RESUMEN: El impacto en el turismo provocado por los eventos deportivos en el último siglo ha sufrido un incremento considerable y como resultado de este aumento se ha ido desarrollando una nueva rama dentro del sector, el turismo deportivo. El objetivo principal de esta investigación consistirá en analizar el impacto turístico de uno de los eventos ciclistas más conocidos del mundo, La Vuelta Ciclista España, tanto a nivel nacional, como para nuestra comunidad autónoma.

ABSTRACT: The impact on tourism caused/generated by sports events in the last century has suffered a considerable increase, as a result of this increase a new branch has been developing within the sector, sports tourism. The main objective of this research is to analyse the tourist impact of one of the best-known cycling events in the world, La Vuelta Ciclista España, both nationally and for our autonomous community.
