El anillo cultural de Santander como recurso turístico

Abstract

RESUMEN: Santander está viviendo una etapa de auge cultural gracias a proyectos como el Anillo Cultural, que recorre el centro histórico. Su objetivo es dar a conocer la historia menos conocida de Santander en un itinerario único. Es una propuesta concebida como un paseo por un itinerario que incluye siete centros de exposiciones y una ruta que presentan una oferta heterogénea en un radio de unos 500 metros. El propósito de este estudio es analizar esta ruta, que ofrece varios espacios para visitar y aprender más sobre la ciudad y para ello se ha llevado a cabo una encuesta en línea sobre el Anillo Cultural. Además, se presenta información obtenida de entrevistas con la persona a cargo del Anillo Cultural y con un guía que trabaja en varios de los centros expositivos sobre aspectos como la promoción o el perfil del visitante, entre otros.

ABSTRACT: Santander is experiencing a moment of cultural liveliness thanks to projects such as the Cultural Ring, which runs through the historic centre. Its objective is to bring alive the lesser known history of Santander on a unique route. It’s a proposal conceived as a walk along an itinerary which includes seven exhibition centres and a route presenting a heterogeneous offer within a radius of about 500 metres. The aim of this study is to analyse this route, which offers a whole series of spaces to visit and to learn more about the city and, for the above reasons, an online survey on the Cultural Ring has been conducted. Furthermore, data obtained from interviews with the person in charge of the Cultural Ring and a guide who works in some of the exhibition centres on aspects such as promotion or visitor profile, among others, are presented.
