Turismo cántabro hacia Cataluña. Consecuencias de la crisis política.

Abstract

RESUMEN: España es uno de los países más visitados del mundo y Cataluña la comunidad autónoma que mayor número de turistas recibe del país. El turismo es, por tanto, el sector económico más importante para ambos territorios y así lo reflejan las cifras tanto en número de llegadas, como en el gasto turístico. Esta importancia se ha visto alterada en Cataluña por la creciente exaltación nacionalista de los partidos independentistas y los acontecimientos violentos que han seguido al movimiento. Las consecuencias derivadas de la crisis política tienen un efecto para los turistas de Cantabria que viajan al destino y se ven influidos por la situación.

ABSTRACT: Spain is one of the most visited countries in the world and Catalonia is the Spanish autonomous community that receives the largest number of tourists. Tourism is, therefore, the most important economic sector for both territories and this is supported by both the magnitude of the tourist influx as well as the level of tourist expenditure. This importance has been affected in Catalonia by the growing exaltation of pro-independence parties and the violent events associated with the movement. The consequences derived from the political crisis have an effect on the tourists from Cantabria who travel to Catalonia and are influenced by the situation.
