Propuesta para la revitalización del parque mitológico “Mina Pepita” de Solares (Cantabria)

Abstract

RESUMEN: El estudio plantea revitalizar un espacio al aire libre en Solares (Cantabria). Se pretende modernizar una atracción turística ya existente con el fin de generar un ambiente más adecuado para su temática y se busca transformar el Parque Mitológico “Mina Pepita” en un auténtico atractivo para todo tipo de turistas. Para ello se utilizarán técnicas de marketing y promoción turística. Para conseguir estos objetivos se han llevado a cabo encuestas a personas que han visitado el parque así como entrevistas a profesionales del sector. Con este plan de marketing además de reforzar la imagen del parque y su entorno proponiendo una ruta se pretende dar a conocer la mitología cántabra de una forma más entretenida cuando se visite el parque.

ABSTRACT: The study provides an opportunity to refresh an existing open space in Solares (Cantabria). It seeks to modernize an existing tourist attraction in order to create a more appropriate environment for its theme as well as transform the Mythological Park “Mina Pepita” into a real attraction for all types of tourists. In order to do this successfully, marketing and tourism promotion techniques will be used. The means to achieve these goals will be focused on the results from a survey carried out among people who have visited the park along with information derived from interviews with professionals working in the sector. The challenge of the marketing plan is to reinforce the vision and character of the park and its surroundings by creating a route in addition to presenting Cantabrian mythology in a more entertaining way when visiting the park.
