Aplicación informática de cálculo de rutas por carretera entre recursos turísticos encadenados por Cantabria

Abstract

RESUMEN: Todos nosotros somos conocedores del papel que toman las nuevas tecnologías en la sociedad actual. Resulta muy difícil imaginar una persona que no tenga acceso al uso de un smartphone o incluso de un teléfono móvil convencional. La continua evolución de las prestaciones de los dispositivos electrónicos, móviles y ordenadores fundamentalmente, es un claro ejemplo de que el campo de las nuevas tecnologías es uno de los principales motores de desarrollo tanto económico como social a nivel mundial. El sector turístico se ve también muy afectado por esta tendencia a informatizar la información. Pensar en realizar un viaje, conocer un sitio nuevo, reservar un alojamiento o comprar un billete de avión son acciones que se han convertido en cotidianas y en todas ellas contaos con un ordenador o un móvil de por medio. Es vital para una compañía, tanto pública como privada que adapte su información y se promociones y publicite a través de la creación de aplicaciones móviles adaptables a los nuevos smartphones. De no ser así, estas compañías están negándose a la obtención de unos beneficios mucho mas elevados. La realización de este trabajo tiene como objetivo fundamental dotar a las oficinas de turismo de una aplicación informática que funciones como herramienta de apoyo a la hora de atender al turista y ofrecerle información, siempre de forma complementaria a las anotaciones del informador turístico y sin desestimar la cartografía clásica. Pensamos que la implementación de esta aplicación en las oficinas de turismo de Santander aporta beneficios tales como mejora de la imagen de la ciudad aportando movilidad y visibilidad y una evidente adaptación al cambio, así como apoyo a la tarea del informador turístico tradicional.

ABSTRACT: All of us are aware of the role new technologies have in today's society. It is very difficult to imagine one person that does not have access to the use of a smartphone or even a conventional mobile phone. The continued evolution of the benefits of electronic, mobile and computer devices fundamentally, is a clear example that the new technologies field is one of the main driving forces not only economically but also socially worldwide. The tourism sector can be seen to also be very affected by the trend to computerise information. When thinking of going on a trip, getting to know a new place, reserving accommodation or buying a plane ticket, they have converted into daily actions and they all rely on a computer or mobile throughout. It is vital for a company, both public and private that they adapt their information and promote and advertise themselves through the creation of mobile phone apps adaptable to new smartphones. If not, these companies are denying themselves the chance to obtain greater benefits. The fundamental aim of conducting this work is to give tourism offices an app which can be used as an support tool when attending to a tourist and offering them information, always being complementary to the observations made by the tourist guide and without rejecting classical cartography. We believe that the use of this app in tourism offices in Santander will provide benefits such as bettering the cities image providing mobility and visibility and an evident adaption to change, as well as supporting the work carried out by the traditional tourist guide.
