RESUMEN: Este Trabajo Fin de Grado tiene como objetivo el desarrollo de una aplicación móvil que permita fomentar el interés turístico y cultural de la ciudad de Santander.
Para lograr este objetivo la aplicación dará a conocer los diferentes puntos de interés que posee el municipio, así como los datos más relevantes sobre cada uno de ellos. Toda esta información será obtenida del portal de datos abiertos que proporciona el Ayuntamiento de Santander.
Además, los usuarios podrán realizar valoraciones sobre dichos puntos de interés, con el objetivo de incentivar y orientar a los demás usuarios en función de sus experiencias, para lo cual será necesario desarrollar un servicio REST de soporte.
Se busca que la aplicación sea llamativa y a la vez sencilla de usar, con el fin de potenciar su uso no solo entre turistas, sino también entre los habitantes de la propia región.
La aplicación será desarrollada para el sistema operativo Android, mediante la herramienta Android Studio. El servicio REST será desarrollado en lenguaje Java, utilizando la tecnología JAX-RS.
ABSTRACT: This end-of-degree project aims to develop a mobile application that allows promoting the tourist and cultural interest of the city of Santander.
To achieve this objective, the application will announce the different points of interest that the municipality has, as well as the most relevant data about each of them. All this information will be obtained from the open data portal provided by the Santander City Council.
In addition, users will be able to make evaluations on said points of interest, with the aim of encouraging and guiding other users based on their experiences, for which it will be necessary to develop a support REST service.
The application is intended to be striking and at the same time simple to use, in order to promote its use not only among tourists, but also among the inhabitants of the region itself.
The application will be developed for the Android operating system, using the Android Studio tool. The REST service will be developed in Java language using the Eclipse tool.
